To backup your Yandex emails, you need to Enable IMAP option or use App Password in Yandex settings.

How to Enable IMAP option in Yandex Mail

Go to Yandex settings and follow the following steps to Enable the Yandex Mail IMAP option:

1. Login to Yandex mail.
2. Click on the “gear icon” placed on the top of the screen.
3. Then click on “Other”.
4. After that, select “Email Clients” Menu.
5. Then, enable “From the imap.yandex.com server via IMAP”

How to Create Yandex App Password for Mail in Yandex Settings

Follow the mentioned steps to create app password for Yandex Mail

1. Login to Yandex mail.
2. Click on the top right “Profile icon”
3. Then select “Account Settings” option.
4. After that, select “Create an app password”
5. Then select “Mail” and enter name of password for access to Mail.
6. Finally, click on “Create”. Copy and use the generated app password.
